The first few chapters began very slowly for me. The story goes between Lucy as an 80 year old woman and Lucy as a young girl. I think I would have preferred to read Lucy's life straight beginning to end vs. the back and forth. Even with these first thoughts I found the book to be a good read. It took me a few chapters, but once Bo and Lucy's story begins to unfold and their quest for survival too I was hooked.

Lucy's boss attacks her and Bo rescues her accidentally killing the man. They run away together and work to survive and make a life for themselves. Then Bo gets drafted and goes to War. Lucy is left home worrying and missing her man. When she gets word Bo is dead. Lucy is devastated by the news and comes close to just completely throwing her life away. The book takes several twist and turns from here and that keeps you on your toes hoping things work out for Lucy.UKhttp://process4reality.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8736436562618890543.post-20955535604809708232012-06-22T22:30:07.350-04:002012-06-22T22:30:07.350-04:00Two contests going on!
