Summer Adventures
This summer, I have been extremely busy. These past weeks alone have been so hectic but so exciting. Here's a recap of my adventures. (Sorry, I'm really backed up on pictures and posts:)
The Cole Room was the conference room we went to.
We had some extra time to play around...
I took so many more pictures, but my camera is not letting me upload them...
Pamphlets.
Me and The Beast.
Ticket Booth.
There she is... the Statue of Liberty.
A beautifully structured building.
Do you see part of the water taxi?
The Staten Island Ferry
Skyscrapers.
I love this shot.
Our shadows. (Urania, Me and my cousin Ali)
A bridge. (Don't remember which one)
Us girls. (Me, Ali, and Aizess in the pool)
Camp fire. (All of the different churches ran around the fire.)
Sister Maria praising the Lord.
Intercession is beautiful.
When we were driving home, it started to rain. Isn't rain lovely!?!
This was so good! A double stacker and a pink lemonade!
That's how it's done!
Now what? I was kind of bored on this 2 hour trip back home so I read a bit (I Kissed Dating Goodbye) and then fell asleep. (I will not, CANNOT, show you those pictures!!!)
I hope you all had fun reading up on my summer so far. I promise, there will be many more updates and pictures on the rest of it!

You asked, I answer.
I recently received a question from Butterfly Kisses, (I apologize for the delayed response:)
Proverbs 31 Woman: (n) One who is virtuous. One who blesses and does not curse. A wise woman, worthy of imitation. A woman who fears the Lord. She honors God, her husband (if it applies), and authorities. She is selfless. She is a teacher. She is organized. She is a good steward of all that the Lord blesses her with. She is talented.
Proverbs 31 is not only an appealing list of attributes that describe the perfect woman. This Proverb is a commitment, almost a challenge, I'm striving to fulfill. The Proverb describes a busy woman who is daily edifying her home. She is the ideal rolemodel as to what a godly wife and woman is. We learn from her not to be idle. We learn to help the needy. We learn to always speak wise words.
The world strongly suggests that women be rebels who don't need to honor their husbands. The Bible clearly says that a women is to honor her husband:
Today's society applauds and encourages women to dress in a way that is revealing and immodest. When a woman dresses immodestly, she stirs up feelings in men that can not be righteously fulfilled.
Are you striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman? I know that I am... and only with the help of the Lord, will I achieve my goal.

"Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
(Ephesians 5:22-24)
Today's society applauds and encourages women to dress in a way that is revealing and immodest. When a woman dresses immodestly, she stirs up feelings in men that can not be righteously fulfilled.
"And I want women to be modest in their appearance. They should wear decent and appropriate clothing and not draw attention to themselves by the way they fix their hair or by wearing gold or pearls or expensive clothes."
(1 Timothy 2:9)
In the Bible, there are many woman who can be categorized as Proverbs 31 women. Sarah, Rebecca, Esther, and Dorcas are just a few. We learn from each of them what it means to truly fear the Lord. These women are the examples we should live by and look up to, for they pleased the Lord. Are you striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman? I know that I am... and only with the help of the Lord, will I achieve my goal.

From there…
You must turn onto the “Bridge of Faith,”
Which is over troubled water.
When you get off the bridge,
Make a right turn and keep straight.
You are on the “King’s Highway”…
Heaven-bound.

One for the Father, one for the Son,
And one for the Holy Ghost.
Then exit off onto “Grace Blvd.”

As you go on your way, Yield Not…
To the traffic on “Temptation Ave.”
Also, avoid “Sin Street”
Because it is a DEAD END.
Pass up “Envy Drive,” and “Have Avenue.”
Also, pass “Hypocrisy Street,”
“Gossiping Lane,” and “Backbiting Blvd.”

But you have to go down “Long-suffering Lane,”

But that’s all right,
Because “VICTORY Blvd.” is straight ahead!
