I have enjoyed watching History Channel’s The Bible so far. I enjoyed their take on the flood and Noah, David and Goliath and other well-known Bible stories. Yes, there are several inaccuracies, like the samurai angels who rescued Lot from Sodom and the directors depicted some Bible characters is ways contrary to the great men of God we know them to be, but the essence of the Bible is there.
