At the beginning for last year, 2012, I created a list of goals here. Over the course of the twelve months that followed, I learned an impactful lesson: be disciplined. Being disciplined plays a major role in our everyday lives and influences our everyday choices. I was able to complete many, almost every goal I set for myself, all for HIS glory.
Lovely post! I enjoyed reading your goals and thoughts for the new year! I also made the goal for this new year to read the bible through!! I am excited to do that. That is really admirable that you have set the goal to read it twice.
ReplyDeleteMy others are to grow in my relationship with the Lord, as well as to be healthier.
Have a blessed 2013!
Hello Jazzimin,
DeleteThank you for stopping by:) All the glory goes to God!
I am excited to read the Bible again this year! I found a Bible calendar that helps you to read it completely in six months. (http://sites.iministries.org/Content/10110/224684.pdf)
Last year I followed another calendar that helped me read the Bible in three months! (https://www.youversion.com/reading-plans/13-bible-in-90-days) The three month reading was challenging but I was up to the challenge!
You can do what ever you set your mind to!
Happy 2013!!!
Those are some nice goals to set for yourself. (Even though I don't read the bible or go to church or any of that stuff...)
ReplyDeleteOh, you should totally re-start playing the piano! It's such a graceful instrument and the music is lovely. I wish I could play piano, but I have to stick with the violin for now. I want to learn to play the piano so much that I feel like crying whenever I get to 'play' one...(The only song I know is Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars.)
Love,
~Jenny
