Beginning To Bloom

See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for
the autumn and spring rains.
James 5:7

That little "garden" of mine is prospering. Yellow blooms have sprouted from vibrant green stems. The plant, green and grand, now stands at exactly 2 feet and 3 inches. I watch it's growth and am amazed by it. Just the other day, I was commenting on how amazing life is. This little plant has no moving parts, but it lives. It grows and "breaths" and produces fruit. Isn't God magnificent?! One of His  "simpler" creations provide us with food! Such little things plants and stems and roots are, but they are life-giving and unique in every way.

Hope you've enjoyed this little update. Check back to read my further chronicling of this little tomato plant's growth. Who knows, perhaps  the next update may include actual tomatoes:)

  1. Those are beautiful tomato plants. :)

I live in SC on a small farm with my family and love to garden too. :) Our tomato plants are in about the same stage as yours.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and it was nice 'meeting' you! :)
